Call for Application: LSA 2025 Writing Workshop

The Lagos Studies Association is happy to announce that we shall once again be running the writing workshop for authors who have completed manuscript they intend to send to journals for publication consideration.

We invite applications for this workshop, during which participants will participate in guided writing and research activities. The LSA will provide nine nights of hotel accommodation and breakfast, lunch, and dinner from June 12 to 21, 2025

Deadline: March 1, 2025

Eligibility

1)      You must have a manuscript already complete and ready to be submitted to journals for publication consideration. World-count: 7,000-10,000.

2)      Nigeria-based scholars only

3)      Advanced PhD students (post-field candidates)

4)      PhD holders whose degree was awarded from 2019

5)      Fields include the arts and humanities, social sciences, and education, among other interdisciplinary disciplines

1)      A 300-word letter of intent/motivation letter detailing your career trajectory
